Description:

I just wanted to try to make a relatively good-looking slot machine using only HTML and CSS. It's just something I slapped together really quickly, but the result is quite nice I think. I also got to use some CSS features I really haven't used much before, such as font-face, transforms, text-shadow and border-radius.

I borrowed the symbols from this online casino and appearance from this page.

Faults

• This is just a dumb mockup without any functionality.
• Browser incompatibilities.

Ideas:

• Write a script that randomize the reels, using virtual reels just like real slot machines.
• Write a script that simulates server-side logic.
• Create more realistic metal frame graphics.
• Create more realistic button graphics.
• Add coin intake graphics.
